Project-dev

From raw idea to complete, traceable project documentation.

Project-dev is an internal system for working out new projects. It takes a raw input — a bare idea or an existing business process, always with incomplete information — and guides it through the correct ordered stages (discovery & problem framing → requirements → UX → UI → frontend & backend specification) into complete, traceable documentation. At each stage it detects what is missing and asks the right gap-filling questions, so the final build stays faithful to the original intent instead of drifting. The methodology is an evidence-ranked hybrid: fast, user-focused discovery early; rigorous, traceable specification later.

The pipeline

Every project moves through the same six ordered stages. Each stage consumes the previous stage's output as its required input, so nothing downstream can drift from the original intent without the drift being visible.

Methodology

No single methodology performs best across the whole idea-to-documentation span, so Project-dev does not commit to one. Instead it runs a hybrid, evidence-ranked approach selected per stage:

Fast and user-focused, early
Discovery, problem framing, and requirements favor lightweight, user-centered practice — moving quickly while the input is still fuzzy and incomplete.
Rigorous and traceable, late
UX, UI, frontend, and backend specification favor rigorous, standards-based artifacts — so the final build can be traced back to the original intent, stage by stage.
